A couple nights ago, we were eating dinner and I got a tickle in my throat that threw me into one of those big coughing bouts that you can't seem to stop. The whole time I was coughing, Tank was proclaiming from the other side of the table "Cover your mouth! Cover your mouth!" even though I was already covering my mouth. I guess he really is listening to me...at times.
This morning we tried another potty training concept...no TV until you potty, or at least give it a good shot. He gave up on me after about 5 minutes and went to sit in the dark living room with no TV. I didn't notice at first though that he snagged a bag of bread off the counter on his way and was sitting in the dark eating a loaf of bread, one piece at a time. Nice.
Bubby has been showing his budding personality lately. Today at daycare he growled and screamed until he got to sit in the chair he wanted and then beamed brightly when he got his way. Last night he got in trouble with daddy for playing with the DVD player again. He doesn't take long to shove the lower lip out and burst into tears when his feelings are hurt. Drama King!
I also want to give a shout out to Jenna. She was an awfully brave girl yesterday and underwent the liver transplant that she has been waiting for. We are praying for her quick recovery and for her family that is anxiously waiting for her to gain her strength back and go home. They are an amazing family to say the least!
Speaking of...head on over to CMN's site to vote for the UI Children's Hospital to win the Ultimate Game Room contest. Those kids need something great like that to take their mind off their pain. Vote 10 times a day for the kids!
